使用这种方法，你最多可以为自己的工作用车申请扣减 5000公里的工作/商务用行车里程数。你申请的税务减免按每公里 0.68澳元计算。你需要能够证明你怎样得出工作/商务公里数（例如通过记录工作相关行车记录，至少连续12周）。

行车日志法

你申请的税务减免基于工作/商务用途费用在汽车费用中所占百分比。
费用包括保险、保养、维护费用和折旧费用。
为计算车辆工作/商务用途百分比，你需要行车日志和行车日志期间的里程计读数。行车日志期间至少为连续12周期间。
你可以根据实际税务发票申请扣减保险、保养、维护费用和折旧费用和燃油费用。这些所有汽车费用的书面发票要保留至少5年。你的车辆如果是摩托车或具备以下承载能力，则不被视为汽车：（a）1吨或以上，如货卡车或厢式面包车；（b）9名或以上乘客，如厢式旅行车。
